Sherwood Forest Farms has been raising fine Polish Arabians
since 1984. Over the years our policy has been to breed Arabian horses with
classical Arabian type, beauty, elegance, excellent dispositions and superior
intelligence. We believe an Arabian horse should be an athlete - capable of
strenuous activity over any type of terrain, doing any type of job he may be
asked to do. For this reason we have always placed great emphasis on selecting
and breeding horses that can move freely and have the ability to cover ground
efficiently while maintaining the ultimate of speed, boldness, style and
endurance. This is the same type of Arabian horse so highly prized by the
ancient Bedouin tribesmen; a horse of great beauty who was also capable of great
deeds in the times of need. In the effort to maintain and improve
this type of Arabian horse Sherwood Forest Farms has spared no effort or
expense. We have gradually acquired the finest breeding stock available in this
country and abroad. Since its beginning Sherwood Forest Farms has always
believed that the ultimate in achievement is perfection of Arabian horse type,
conformation, and athletic ability. Presently we own
approximately 68 Polish Arabians. We stand six stallions, many of these
stallions have accumulated Championships in either Halter and/or Racing.
We are located on 226 acres in Paris, Kentucky. In addition to
running a Polish Arabian Breeding Farm we also run a full hay and straw
operation. It is truly an aesthetic paradise! Paris is a city that was settled in 1775 and is in
